PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria and Tazewell County road construction projects are scheduled to begin, or move into another phase of construction, Monday.
Knoxville Avenue in Peoria will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Pioneer Parkway to replace the medians and islands at the intersection. Turns in all directions will be allowed during the project, which will continue until early October.
Nearby, pavement pouring will begin at the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and University.
