ORLANDO, Fl. – Peoria’s Red Lobster restaurant is one of two dozen more locations now scheduled to close as part of the chain’s ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
The company is reportedly not renewing the leases of an additional 23 Red Lobster locations nationwide. More than 100 of their restaurants closed earlier this summer.
Red Lobster is selling off its assets to Fortress Credit Corporation, which recently gave the chain $100 million to stay afloat.
The Illinois locations set to close include:
4625 N. Sterling Avenue, Peoria
902 Commons Drive, Geneva
1604 N. State Road 50, Bourbonnais
1901 N. Prospect Avenue, Champaign
