WEST PEORIA, Ill. – A West Peoria man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery Saturday night at a West Peoria gas station.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says deputies were called to the Circle K gas station on W. Farmington Road just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Surveillance video and information gathered at the scene indicated that a suspect had a gun and demanded money from an employee. The man later fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Watkins says the gas station employee was not injured during the incident.
Using surveillance video and Flock LPRs, Peoria Police later found the suspect’s vehicle on Sheridan Road. The driver was identified as Jaylin Howard-Bradley, who matched the suspect description.
Watkins says Howard-Bradley was arrested for armed robbery and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
