A rash of burglaries have been targeted to local car dealerships.
Peoria Police responded to several business burglaries to auto dealers in the area, that include theft from vehicles and stolen vehicles.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson says, the suspect(s) are targeting auto dealers, making force entry into the dealership, and stealing keys to the vehicles on the lot.
Dotson says, Since September 21st, many vehicles have been reported stolen. The burglaries occurred in the overnight hours, and into the early morning.

Additionally, Dotson says there have been numerous reports of theft from unlocked vehicles in residential areas throughout the City of Peoria. Peoria Police would like to encourage and remind the public, to lock your vehicle, garage, and house doors.
