Election judges training for Nov. 5th and helping early voters

PEORIA Ill. – Peoria County election judges are already getting prepared for November 5th…

Thursday, the Peoria County Election Commission held two in-person training sessions for those volunteering to work on Election Night.

Peoria County election judge, John Crain, spoke to 25News about the preparation.

“To make sure the people are processed efficiently, that the people are processed correctly according to state law, and that the people all feel like they played a part, in what we know as democracy,” John Crain said.

Deborah Faggett, who first served as an election judge in 1984, says she’s convinced four of her friends to become election judges.

Election day is exactly three-weeks, from next Tuesday.
