A teenage murder suspect pleads not guilty, a second time.
14-year-old Zaveon Marks is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and a count of unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the June shooting death of 16-year-old Zarious Fair.
Marks was in court Thursday for arraignment, where he entered his plea.
It was a second arraignment for Marks, whose case was moved from adult court, to juvenile court, and then back to adult court after having his charges temporarily dropped.
Marks is due back in Peoria County Court for a scheduling conference on Oct. 17. His trial is tentatively set to begin on Oct. 28.
