BARTONVILLE, Ill. – A Limestone High School employee has been arrested after an alleged inappropriate relationship between them and a student.
Bartonville Police say 37-year-old Ronnie Baskin was arrested Friday on charges of Criminal Sexual Assault, two counts of Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor, and two counts of Delivering Alcohol to a Minor.
In a letter to parents in the district, Superintendent Keith Brown says Baskin was in a non-teaching role at the high school. 25 News reports Baskin worked in the school’s IT Department.
He says school administration received a report Friday regarding the alleged relationship and immediately contacted law enforcement and the Department of Child and Family Services.
Bartonville Police did not provide further information, citing the involvement of a minor in the investigation. Brown and the school district also did not provide further information regarding the arrest.
