TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – One person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash Saturday on Interstate 155 in southern Tazewell County.
Illinois State Police say units responded to the crash in the southbound lanes near Hopedale just before 12:15 P.M.
Police say a northbound vehicle lost control and traveled into the southbound lanes, striking two other vehicles. Debris from the crash struck two additional vehicles.
Police say one person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. No other injuries were reported.
