PEORIA, Ill. – The man that died after a shooting in Peoria’s East Bluff Sunday night, has been identified.
Peoria Police say officers responded to a house just after 7:45 P.M. to a call of a person shot in the area of Arcadia and Peoria.
That’s where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound inside the house.
According to Peoria County Coroner, Jamie Harwood, he has been identified as 39-year-old James Miller, of Peoria.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead — just after 8:00pm.
Police currently do not have any suspects, and are investigating the shooting.
