PAXTON, Ill. – An East Peoria man has been arrested for allegedly traveling to meet with a minor for sexual purposes.
The CHAOS Task Force says 52-year-old Kevin Evans was arrested in Paxton on Saturday.
The task force says Evans allegedly was in communication with a minor 15 years old or younger, and made plans to meet up with them.
Evans traveled to Paxton, where he was taken into custody by Paxton Police.
He is charged with indecent solicitation of a child, solicitation to meet a child, and traveling to meet a child.
