Peoria Police responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Trewyn Avenue just after 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, officers located a teenager who had been shot in the leg.
The teen was transported to a local hospital.
Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson said it is believed that his injuries were not life threatening.
There is no suspect information at this time.
