(Reuters) – India’s Apollo Hospitals Enterprise reported third-quarter profit that beat estimates on Monday, driven by higher demand for its healthcare services.
The hospital-chain operator’s consolidated net profit rose 51.8% year-on-year to 3.72 billion Indian rupees ($42.5 million) for the quarter ended December 31.
Analysts, on average, expected 3.51 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.
