PEORIA, Ill. — The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday night has been identified as 57-year-old Brian J. Fowler of Peoria. Peoria Police responded to the accident at 7:29 p.m. in the 200 block of W. Glen Ave. to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle was traveling westbound on Glen when it struck Fowler, who was walking on Glen. Fowler required extrication from underneath the vehicle.
Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:50 p.m. An investigation is ongoing.
