PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are looking for a suspect accused in a stabbing Sunday night in South Peoria.
Police arrived to the area of Western and Howett just after 8:15 P.M., finding a 46-year-old male with a stab wound to the back. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a crime scene was established in the area of Starr and Stanley, but did not find a suspect.
Later on in the investigation, police identified 46-year-old Roderick Franklin as a suspect in the stabbing.
Franklin was not found last night.
Police say the incident is under investigation.
