PEORIA, Ill. –A controversial comedian is coming to the Peoria Civic Center.
Louis C.K. will appear at the Civic Center Theater on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
In 2017, Louis C.K., who’s real name is Louis Székely, admitted to several incidents of sexual misconduct which involved him touching himself in front of women, which resulted in widespread criticism, and his film, ” I Love You, Daddy” being pulled from distribution prior to its scheduled release date.
In 2012, C.K. won a Peabody Award and has received six Primetime Emmy Awards, as well as numerous awards for The Chris Rock Show, Louie, and his stand-up specials. He has won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album twice.
C.K. began his career in the 1990s writing for comedians including David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, and also for other comedy shows.
