PEORIA, Ill. – If school is canceled at Peoria Public Schools due to snow or extremely cold temperatures, students will be expected to do their work at home.
On Monday, PPS board members approved the “learn from anywhere, anytime” concept for a second year.
The Illinois State Board of Education is allowing districts to designate up to five days during the calendar year as “work from home” days.
PPS students can access assignments online or take packets home ahead of expected snowfall.
Peoria Public Schools will provide information about “learn from anywhere, anytime” at parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday.
