PEORIA, Ill. โ Beginning Monday, lane restrictions will return to I-474 and Airport Road.
I-474 will be reduced to one lane in each direction as work resumes on the Airport Road overpass. Lane closures will continue through mid-June.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, as part of the Moss Avenue Reconstruction Project, Moss Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Western Avenue to Duryea Place for pavement removal work.
Only residential and emergency vehicles will have access to this part of Moss Avenue through the fall.

As part of the One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project in downtown Peoria, sidewalk removal work continues on the northwest corner of Adams and Kumpf Boulevard as the same work is scheduled to start on the northeast corner soon.
Lane restrictions on Jefferson Street downtown are expected to start next week.
Starting Monday, as part of the Maxwell Road Reconstruction Project, only southbound traffic will be allowed on Maxwell Road between Fauber Road and Middle Road.
Side roads and driveways on the east side of the road will be accessible to the southbound traffic lane by the use of temporary gravel. The northbound closure is scheduled until late July or early August. The full project is expected to wrap up in June 2026.
Beginning Monday, In Tazewell County near Tremont, Townline Road will be closed to through traffic east of I-155 between Miller Rd. and Ropp Road for bridge replacement work until the end of October.
