PEORIA, Ill. – Over 30 area employers will be at Goodwill Commons in Peoria this Friday, June 6th for their annual hiring event.
Goodwill Employment Program Manager Kate Aukes says anyone looking for a job can show up between 9 a.m. and noon.
“We’ll have you just fill out a quick demographics form…and then you’ll just work your way around the facility to talk to the employers that are of interest to you,” Aukes says.
She tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan”, OSF HealthCare, Carle Health, Kroger, CEFCU and a number of state agencies will have representatives at the hiring event.
“That would be DCFS, the Department of Corrections, State Police,” Aukes says.
Goodwill Commons is located at 2319 E. War Memorial Drive in Peoria.
