PEORIA, Ill. — 14-year-old Zaveon Marks was in court Monday for jury selection in his murder trial.
The jury consists of five women and seven men.
Marks faces two counts of first-degree murder in the June 12, 2019 death of 16-year-old Zarious Fair.
Marks is expected back in the courtroom Tuesday morning when his trial is set to resume at 9:00. His bond was set at $2 million.
