PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria County Board has drafted its proposed 2020 budget.
Highlights include no property tax increase and fully-funded Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund pension obligations.
County committees are slated to meet December 3rd and 4th to discuss their respective committees’ portions of the budget.
The board as a whole is then scheduled to meet December 18th to adopt the budget, officially.
As is mandated by law, the board has posted the proposed budget for public inspection 30 days prior to its adoption meeting.
