WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – A Tiskilwa man has been arrested in Woodford County for allegedly attempting to meet up with a minor.
Woodford County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword says 54-year-old Rodney Harrod was arrested Saturday night by the office’s Predator Team Proactive unit.
Tipsword says Harrod allegedly traveled to Woodford County to attempt to have sex with who he believed to be a 15-year-old girl he had met online.
Harrod is charged with two counts of Indecent Solicitation of a Child, one count of Traveling to Meet a Minor, and one count of Grooming.
Harrod was taken to the Woodford County Jail to await a pretrial detention hearing.
