PEORIA, Ill. –One of comedy’s hottest stars is making her way back to central Illinois.
The Peoria Civic Center announced that Nikki Glaser will perform at the Prairie Home Alliance Theater on November 12, as part of her “Stunning Tour.” The show marks her return to Peoria after performing at the venue in September 2023.
Glaser’s upcoming Peoria performance comes on the heels of her groundbreaking achievement as the first woman to host the Golden Globe Awards solo in 2025.
Critics and audiences alike praised her performance. She is set to host the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on January 11, 2026.
The Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe-nominated comedian has spent nearly two decades building a reputation as one of comedy’s most fearless performers. Her stand-up tackles personal topics including body image struggles, mental health challenges, and the absurdities of modern dating and relationships.
What sets Glaser apart is her willingness to discuss her own experiences with anorexia, depression, and anxiety openly on stage. Rather than shying away from uncomfortable topics, she transforms them into relatable comedy that resonates with audiences, particularly women who see their own struggles reflected in her material.
