PEORIA, Ill. – A Morton woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man Monday evening.
On Monday, January 5, 2026, around 7:00 p.m., Peoria Police officers responded to the 2300 block of North Sheridan Road regarding a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound to the hand. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
During the course of the investigation, officers identified and located the suspect a short distance from the scene.
Ariel Wilson, 43, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Peoria County Jail.
Wilson was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.
