PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD RADIO) – Bradley University is expanding its graduate offerings with a new fully online Master of Arts in English program designed for working professionals and lifelong learners.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will launch the 30-credit hour program in Fall 2026, offering students the ability to complete coursework entirely online without any required meeting times.
The asynchronous format allows students to engage with course materials wherever they are and whenever it works for their schedule. Ideal for working professionals, educators, writers, and others balancing multiple commitments.
“With everything moving so quickly, especially in the age of AI, strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills matter more than ever,” said Dr. Melinda McBee Orzulak, associate professor of English. “This program gives educators, writers, and communicators the time and space to dig deeply into ideas and strengthen the advanced communication abilities that help them thrive.”
Students enrolled in Bradley’s Online M.A. in English will benefit from fully online and asynchronous learning, critical thinking and analysis, professional writing development, and advanced research training.
Applications for the Online M.A. in English will open in early 2026 for the Fall 2026 semester start.
