PEORIA, Ill. – One of two men involved in a Facebook robbery more than a year ago in North Peoria learned his fate last month.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 25-year-old Tobais Taylor was sentenced to 12 years in prison on December 22nd, after pleading guilty to Aggravated Robbery.
On October 26th, 2024, police responded to the Knollridge Apartment Complex, where a victim told officers he had arranged the sale of some shoes listed on Facebook Marketplace.
The victim was met by two men, one of which told the victim to hand over his shoes or his friend would shoot him. The victim handed over four pairs of shoes and the suspects fled.
