SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A favorite time of the year has arrived for many hunters in Illinois.
Firearm Deer Hunting season kicks off Friday in Illinois.
The second firearm deer weekend runs December 5th through the 8th.
The Muzzleloader season runs December 13th through the 15th.
Hunters are reminded they must report any deer they take to D-N-R.
