PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University Police, Peoria Police and other local law enforcement are investigating a potential threat made on the Bradley campus.
A note was found in a restroom in Olin Hall Wednesday afternoon, threatened violence in that building. BU Police said the threat was being taken seriously.
The time indicated in the threat passed without incident. BU Police said Wednesday night that they planned to remain in the area out of an abundance of caution.
BUPD has not determined the threat to be credible. However, in light of incidences of campus violence around the country, campus police would remain cautious.
Bradley University classes were to continue as scheduled.
