PEORIA, Ill. – The driver of a Jeep was rescued late Thursday night after a rollover accident in Peoria.
Fire Battalion Chief Josh Martin says crews responded around 11:30 p.m. to the area of N. Knoxville Avenue and Northmoor Road, finding the Jeep on its side and the driver trapped inside.
Firefighters used rescue jacks to stabilize the vehicle, and the driver was removed through a window.
Martin says the driver was in stable condition and refused to be taken to a hospital.
