TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – The Washington woman who died Friday night in a pedestrian versus vehicle crash has been released.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley on Monday says 63-year-old Laurie Boice was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Hanley says Boice suffered multiple blunt force injuries sustained as a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
The crash was reported just after 5:45 P.M. Friday on Washington Road, between Meadow Lane and Briargate Road.
The crash remains under investigation.

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. — A 63-year-old woman was killed Friday night when she was struck by a pickup truck pulling a trailer in Washington.
The crash was reported around 5:50 p.m. on Washington Road, between Meadow Lane and Briargate Road.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley said the woman, who lived in Washington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name will be released following an autopsy on Monday.
East Peoria, Illinois State Police, and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
The East Peoria Fire Department, Washington Police, and the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
