PEORIA, Ill. (25 News) – A Peoria Public School bus carrying approximately 38 students was involved in a three-vehicle crash near downtown Peoria Thursday afternoon.
The collision occurred at the intersection of North William Kumpf Boulevard and West Romeo B. Garrett Avenue, according to 25News.
One vehicle reportedly struck the bus head-on. The driver of that vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The condition of students and staff on the bus has not been released.
A backup bus was dispatched to transport students from the damaged bus.
