PEORIA, Ill. – A crash in downtown Peoria Tuesday morning involved a police cruiser.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth said the accident happened at the intersection of Monroe and Fayette Streets around 10:30 a.m.
The officer in the squad car and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
