PEORIA, Ill. – It’s going to be a busy weekend for the Peoria Civic Center.
General Manager Rik Edgar tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan” that roughly 15,000 people are expected to walk through the doors through Sunday, with the biggest crowds on Saturday.
“Not only do we have ‘Hot Wheels’ (Monster Trucks), which draws around 10,000 people on Saturday alone, we also have two performances of ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Jam Fest’ Cheer, and IHSA Chess. So, parking is going to be incredibly competitive , ” Edgar says.
Edgar suggests arriving early, or you might miss the start of your show or event. He also reminds everyone about the Civic Center’s clear bag policy.
Tickets are still available for several performances of Les Miserables, Edgar says, especially for the evening performances this weekend.
