PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria County prosecutors are looking to try four juveniles reportedly involved in a violent car chase Tuesday as adults.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says the four, along with 18-year-olds Davier Dillard and Quinzel Foy, were formally charged on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say all six are charged with Attempt First-Degree Murder, Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding.
Prosecutors say more charges are expected on Thursday, along with detention hearings for Dillard and Foy.
During the chase, the six are alleged to have stolen a vehicle, filming an attack on a teenager before stealing his iPhone and jacket, attempting to strike a 14-year-old with a vehicle, and throwing objects at police squad cars.
