PEORIA, Ill. – Each year, 104.9 The Wolf spends two days raising money for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Wolf’s Mike Stechman and John Young will broadcast live from 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5 with “Country Cares”.
Stechman says, “This is The Wolf’s 36th year with ‘Country Cares’, and we’re so happy to be a part of that, and raising money.”
Last year, 104.9 The Wolf’s listeners raised over $71,000 for St. Jude.
Kids being treated for cancer at St. Jude and their families are never asked for a single penny to pay for their treatment. Money raised through St. Jude Runs and radiothons across the country cover all their expenses.
Stechman and Young will share impactful stories from St. Jude patients from Central Illinois over the next two days.
