CREVE COEUR, Ill. (25 News) – Illinois State Police are investigating a death in Creve Coeur after officers were seen blocking off streets Tuesday morning.
A heavy police presence was seen near the intersection of Roosevelt and Stewart streets. Crime scene tape could be seen outside a home in the neighborhood.
So far, no information has been released about the person who died, how they died, or whether there is any threat to the public.
25 News reached out to Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley, who referred all questions to State Police.
“To protect an active investigation, there is no information available to share at this time,” ISP said in a statement released about 6:05 p.m.
