PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – Monday’s winter weather led to quite a few accidents in Peoria County.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says deputies have responded to 25 weather related crashes since Monday morning.
Watkins says there are still ice covered roads throughout the county and reports of accidents are still coming in.
A Traffic Collision Alert for Peoria County was lifted around 9:45 p.m. Monday. Anyone involved in a crash without injuries on Monday should report it in person at the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office within 48 hours.
