March 20 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Friday as the Iran war approached its fourth week, roiling energy markets and prompting investors to aggressively reprice bets on the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate cuts.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 45.8 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 45,975.65. The S&P 500 fell 11.8 points, or 0.18%, to 6,594.66, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 101.4 points, or 0.46%, to 21,989.333.
