PEKIN, Ill. — A 46-year-old Pekin man has been taken into custody for possession of Child Sexual Abuse materials, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP arrested Christian Hundt, of Pekin, last week on three felony counts and took him to the Tazewell County Jail.
Hundt’s arrest followed an extensive Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that State Police began in Tazewell County last August.
ISP Special Agents executed a search warrant at Hundt’s home in the 18000 block of Lake Knolls Road in Pekin on March 18, where electronic evidence was collected.
The ISP was assisted in the investigation by the Peoria Metropolitan Enforcement Group, the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, and digital examiners with the Illinois Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional criminal charges may follow.
