PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Rivermen will play for the Cup.
The Rivermen defeated the Knoxville Ice Bears at Carver Arena on Sunday, 1-0, to win the best-of-five series in the SPHL President’s Cup semifinals. It’s their third appearance in five years, winning the Cup in 2022 and 2024.
Kullan Daiwaka scored the only goal of the game in the second period. Nick Latinovich made 28 saves for his second straight shutout for Peoria.
The Rivermen will now take on defending Cup champion Evansville in the President’s Cup Finals, with the best-of-five series starting Thursday night in Peoria.

- Game 2 – Evansville at Peoria, Friday May 1, 7:15 P.M.
- Game 3 – Peoria at Evansville, Wednesday May 6, 7:00 P.M.
- Game 4 – Peoria at Evansville, Thursday May 7, 7:00 P.M. (if necessary)
- Game 5 – Evansville at Peoria, Saturday May 9, 7:15 P.M. (if necessary)
