PEORIA, Ill. – Students from 15 area schools are set to be honored at the 2026 Sterling Merit Awards Banquet.
The Rotary Club of Peoria is hosting the annual event, which is expected to bring together more than 600 students with the highest academic standards, along with their families, teachers, and community leaders, for a banquet honoring the student’s outstanding academic achievements.
The banquet will take place on Tuesday, May 5th, at the Peoria Civic Center.
The Sterling Merit Awards Banquet, jointly sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Peoria, Peoria North, Chillicothe, and Farmington, is a testament to Rotary’s long-standing tradition of community service.
The event seeks to enhance the incentive for scholastic achievement through public recognition.
