MORTON, Ill. – Illinois State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Morton early Thursday morning.
It happened on eastbound I-74 at milepost 102 just after 5:30 a.m. At least one of the two vehicles rolled in the median, leaving one person dead.
Three other people were taken to a hospital with injuries.
Traffic on eastbound I-74 is still closed, with a detour at Morton Avenue…getting traffic back onto I-74.
