TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – A Kewanee woman has been arrested for murder in connection to a shooting death in Creve Coeur earlier this year.
Illinois State Police and Tazewell County State’s Attorney Kevin Johnson say 27-year-old Caitlynn Girkin is charged with three counts of First Degree Murder for the death of 29-year-old Adolfo Cazares.
Cazares died from his injuries after suffering a gunshot wound at a house in the area of Roosevelt and Stewart on March 10th.
About a week later, Creve Coeur Police requested state police to help with the investigation.
Girkin is being held in the Tazewell County Jail, pending a detention hearing.
