PEORIA, Ill. – A man suffered life-threatening injuries after reportedly being struck by a vehicle Thursday night in South Peoria.
Peoria Police says the crash happened on the 1000-block of S. Western at around 10:30 P.M.
Officers arrived to find the 60-year-old male victim lying unconscious in the roadway. He was taken to a local hospital.
The adult driver involved remained at the scene, with police saying they are cooperating with the investigation. Investigators did determine the driver was not at fault for the crash.
