Kitchen fire causes $35,000 damage to Peoria home

PEORIA, Ill. – No one is hurt after a fire in Peoria.  The blaze broke out Tuesday night in a home in the 33-hundred block of North Kentwood Court.  

Investigators determined the cause of the fire was accidental.  The fire started in the kitchen.

Fire Battalion Chief Josh Maroney said the fire caused about $35,000 worth of property damage.
