PEORIA, Ill. — A crash involving a semi blocked all lanes of eastbound I-74 near the Sterling exit early Wednesday morning in Peoria, but the highway cleared just in time for the morning commute.
Illinois State Police say the semi crashed into a median around 2:50 a.m. The crash blocked all eastbound lanes for three hours.
The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews cleared the wreck and reopened all lanes of traffic around 5:50 a.m.
