PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded around 9 p.m. Monday to the 2200 block of W. Hudson on reports of a shooting.
“Upon arrival, officers did locate a male victim, 18 years of age. He suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks as well as the leg,” said Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson.
The teen was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Dotson said police do not have any suspects at this time.
The incident remains under investigation
