PEORIA, Ill. — The next round of winter weather headed for the Peoria area is expected to drop several inches of new snow by Saturday.
News partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins predicts that the snow will start around midnight Wednesday and continue through Thursday morning. Rain and snow is expected through Saturday.
“We’ll see rain or rain and snow Thursday afternoon, then snow Thursday night into Friday morning. Rain or rain and snow Friday afternoon. Then, snow Friday night into Saturday afternoon,” Collins said.
Collins said each snow event is predicted to bring one to two inches.
“So, the three day snow total will range from three to six inches. And, with day time highs around 35, it’ll be a slushy mess,” Collins said.
