LITTLEFIELD, Ariz. — The Arizona Department of Public Safety seized 362 pounds of methamphetamine last week from Maurius Mason, 38, of Peoria, and Julie Mason, 52, of Iowa.
The couple was stopped by a state trooper Friday, January 24, on Interstate 15, south of Littlefield, Arizona.
Both Maurius and Julie Mason were charged with possession and transportation of a dangerous drug.
According to the Peoria Journal Star, it’s the largest single meth seizure in Arizona Department of Public Safety history.
