SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois State Fair has released the first round of grandstand concerts for 2020.
Country superstar Toby Keith, along with Craig Morgan, will be the headliner Sunday, August 16th.
“The lineup reflects a diverse mix of genres from both established artists and emerging stars that will appeal to a wide variety of fans,” fair manager Kevin Gordon said. “Toby Keith’s mix of country anthems and party tunes are the summer staple we can build the rest of this year’s lineup around.”
Another country music show, Chris Young and Scott McCreery, take the stage two nights later on August 18th.
Then it is hip hop’s night, as LL Cool J appears on the grandstand Wednesday, August 19th.
Puddle of Mudd, Fuel, Trapt and Tantric rock the state Thursday, August 20th.
Tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 25 during the Illinois State Fair’s “Corndog Kickoff” special event.
