PEORIA, Ill. — Our streak of cloudy days is about to end…at least for a day or two, according to news partner 25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins.
“We’ve had cloudy skies every hour, every day since last Sunday afternoon. So, full blown sunshine Sunday will be super. In fact, highs will be in the low 50s and Peoria’s record high on Groundhog Day is 54, so we’ll be close to a 100-year-old record,” Collins said.
Clouds will return Monday and a mix of rain and snow returns Monday night. Seasonal temperatures are expected to return to Central Illinois on Tuesday and Wednesday.
